DGS serves the public by providing a variety of services to state agencies through procurement and acquisition solutions; real estate management and design; environmentally friendly transportation; professional printing, design and web services; administrative hearings; legal services; building standards; oversight of structural safety, fire/life safety and accessibility for the design and construction of K-12 public schools and community colleges; funding for school construction; and disability access.

In partnership with the Department of General Services, the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce brings you technical training and resources to help you grow your business. This three part webinar will give you insight of how the system works, what to do once you business is certified as well as how to look for bid opportunities. The live webinars will be instructed by DGS's Business Outreach Liaisons in an easy manner to follow along. You will gain critical insight to the importance of having your business certified, be able to bid on contract, able to qualify for procurement opportunities and more. Each session will be approximately one hour and ten minutes with Q&A for the remainder of the time. To participate, you must register for each session in advance.
